Jefferson finds fulfillment in bringing value to companies and working with people to solve complex problems. Jefferson first became involved in the impact space when he founded Itara Solar Solutions, a nonprofit organization in Rwanda to help individuals and schools obtain access to electricity and reading materials; he has also won research competitions pertaining to the Rwandan education system. He continued to work alongside healthcare startups like SyncTimes, where he helped them obtain their initial clients and secure over $1 M in revenue.
Although Jefferson’s background is traditionally in finance and healthcare venture capital, he also has worked in marketing, search engine optimization, and data analytics. Jefferson earned his MBA from the University of Rochester and BS in Finance from Brigham Young University. When he is not working, he enjoys soccer, spike ball, spending time outside with his wife, and playing games with family.
